Cheri – A Legacy of Leadership
As co-owner of Samm’s Heating & Air, Cheri has been instrumental in building a company rooted in trust, service, and integrity. Her vision and leadership have helped Samm’s grow into a business that not only provides top-tier HVAC solutions but also cares deeply about its employees and customers.
Cheri has always believed that a company is only as strong as the people behind it. That’s why she has worked to create a workplace where family values, teamwork, and customer care are at the core of everything we do. Her influence has shaped Samm’s into more than just a business—it’s a place where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
As a mother and grandmother, Cheri knows that parenthood and leadership go hand in hand. She says that being a mother has taught her patience, discipline, and the importance of communication and planning—all essential qualities in leading a successful company.
Her guiding lesson for her children and grandchildren?
“Life is just love—keep your heart open and always try. Even when things are hard, always try your best and don’t give up.”
One of the things she is most proud of? Seeing all of her children doing well.
“A defining moment for me is knowing that all of my children have made it. That makes me feel proud of myself.”
Amy – More Than Just Numbers
Amy, our HR & Accounting Manager, didn’t just join Samm’s for a job—she left the corporate world for a career where she could feel like more than just a number. She wanted to be part of something where her work truly mattered, and at Samm’s, she has found just that.
Whether it’s keeping the company financially sound, ensuring our team members are supported, or handling the unexpected challenges that pop up daily, Amy is always willing to go the extra mile. Some of the toughest issues we tackle each day have nothing to do with HVAC, but Amy is always ready to jump in, problem-solve, and find a way forward.
Because, as we all know, women just get things done.
Tiffany – The Adventurer Turned Leader
Some people take the straight path to leadership. Tiffany took the scenic route.
Before becoming our Install Manager, Tiffany spent years exploring the country, working as a chef, diving into the world of science, and experiencing life in different ways. But in the end, she felt the pull of home. Family—and especially her niece and nephew—drew her back to Texas and to the company her parents had worked so hard to build.
Now, she brings her wealth of experience, problem-solving skills, and hands-on leadership to our install team. Tiffany ensures that every installation is done with precision, care, and the high standards Samm’s is known for. She’s a reminder that the best leaders aren’t just those with the most industry experience—they’re the ones who bring curiosity, adaptability, and a deep sense of purpose to their work.
Tanya – The Artist, the Leader, the Dreamer
Tanya is not your typical Director of Operations—but that’s exactly what makes her such a force at Samm’s.
With a background in the nonprofit world, Tanya spent years serving veterans, first responders, and their families—work that remains close to her heart. She understands service, sacrifice, and the importance of building a community where people feel valued and cared for.
At Samm’s, Tanya brings that same passion for leadership and service to everything she does. But she also brings something else—a creative spirit that sets her apart. As an artist and a visionary, Tanya approaches challenges differently. She sees solutions where others see problems, and she isn’t afraid to think outside the box to make things better.
Leading in a male-dominated industry isn’t always easy, but Tanya embraces the challenge. She and Tiffany are continuing the family legacy their parents started, proving that strong leadership isn’t about toughness—it’s about grace, vulnerability, and a willingness to grow.
As a mother, Tanya is especially passionate about setting an example for her young daughter. She wants her to know that hard work and determination can take her anywhere, even if she’s the first to walk that path.
